Tth European Conference of Reflexology, Riccione, Italy, |

| “The reflexologist can provide physical well-being and restore your body’s balance. In order to carry out his job in a competent manner, he has to know how to achieve and maintain a degree of expertise, growing constantly and being open to knowledge, keeping up-to-date and conforming with the right dynamism that characterizes his profession. The 5th European Conference of Reflexology intends to put forward this goal by making available to reflexologists from all over the world the results of research and professional experiences. The confrontation, the exchange of different opinions and the coming together are fundamental moments that FIRP offers during each of its annual conferences and that it pursues with effort, commitment and with the usual enthousiasm in this event as well, entrusted to it by RiEN. An event that FIRP considers to be doubly interesting since the European Conference coincides with FIRP’s 16th Annual Conference. A Womanly Story is the main topic of the conference. Not only an in-depth analysis of the all-female theme – from adolescence to middle age, through all the evolutionary phases and the hormonal, physiological and emotional changes – but also a comprehensive look at woman’s internal world, which has never been explored completely and is still full of mysteriously fascinating unknowns. In this universe, reflexology has set the ambitious goal of analyzing and exploring issues largely ignored by others and sometimes even by the women thenselves, for the purpose of reaching a state of well-being. The internationally known lecturers deal with this topic in all its aspects. An analysis of their talks, whose complete version or – wherever this is not possible – general outline are presented in a volume along with iconographic aids, yields precious ideas and thoughts that the reflexologist needs to keep in his professional and cultural ‘archive’, never forgetting how beneficial reflexology can be for a woman’s physical well-being and balance.” |
