In the foreword of the Conference Book the organising committee states that:

"The participants of this conference have been given an opportunity to make contacts for further co-operation. We can be happy that we are connected through a network, the Reflexology in Europe Network (RiEN). Let us make it a strong and actively working team of Specialists on Reflexology.

We thank the RiEN board members for all the support they gave us. We have enjoyed every newsletter of RiEN and those of the member associations in which we found news about the conference. We see the RiEN as a network of reflexologists that fulfils its purpose only when we hold together, when we keep a tight contact with each other, and when we see each other at least every other year. We wish a lot of luck for the next Conference in 2000!

The organizing of this conference, besides our work as reflexologists, has given us a great gift: Now we know there are no limits of time or energy when you work on a subject that is close to your heart. There is no better way to learn about your own strength and weaknesses than to work as a member of a voluntary team. We recommend that everyone go through this at least once in a life-time."

The entertainment programme included a collective visit to a sauna, a dinner dance and music evening and a tour of the surroundings. The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was warm.
